According to the requirements of the specification, the winter construction of the production plant should meet the requirements of the use of the environment, and the temperature and humidity of the sealant use environment should be increased as much as possible in low temperature weather. In the environment other than the above temperature and humidity requirements, our company does not recommend the user to construct glue. Because: when the temperature is too low, the wettability of the adhesive and the substrate surface is reduced, and there may be imperceptible fog or frost on the substrate surface, which affects the bond between the silicone structural sealant and the substrate. Under low temperature and low humidity conditions, the curing speed and bonding speed of silicone sealant are slower than normal, which will lead to longer maintenance time and affect the construction.
If the user has special circumstances and needs to be built in a low temperature environment (the ambient temperature is below 10 ° C), it is recommended to carry out a small area gluing test before use, and carry out a peel bond test to confirm that the sealant is cured and bonded well, and the maintenance time can be extended appropriately depending on the situation. When necessary, the choice of primer can be considered to speed up the bonding speed and reduce the risk of poor bonding due to low ambient temperature. At the same time, it is appropriate to choose a time period with higher temperatures throughout the day, and the time is more appropriate from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. In the construction process, the user should strengthen the quality control of the construction process to ensure the construction quality.
